Dr Uche Ngwaba is an Assistant Professor of Law in Canada and an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), a professional fellowship recognizing expertise in teaching according to the UK Professional Standards framework for Universities. He is trained as a lawyer in Nigeria and Australia with 15 years post-call experience in Nigeria. He has taught in the undergraduate and postgraduate law programs of three Australian Universities (Macquarie University Sydney; Deakin University Melbourne; and Western Sydney University). 

He has rendered legal advisory services and litigated in a wide range of areas such as corporate and commercial law; intellectual property law; labour law; health law; wills and estates; banking and finance; company law etc. In addition to his legal practice, Dr Ngwaba is also a well published academic with expertise in the health law field. Dr Ngwaba has published articles in local and international journals; and has several book chapters to his name on topical issues of law in Nigeria.
